The fishing industry is reacting with outrage to a report which suggests that trawling is destroying Australia’s marine life.
Environment groups commissioned the report on the impacts of gill netting and bottom trawling.
They say the Australian Government should consider the report as it decides on proposed marine sanctuaries in Australian waters.
