THE FUTURE of marine health in the South West was ensured by the state government last week after it unveiled plans for the Ngari Capes Marine Park.
Planned to skirt the coast from south of Capel to Augusta, the proposed marine park will cover 124,000 hectares of the state’s most prestigious waters.
Environmentalists welcomed the announcement following years of planning and public comment.
