Author Tim Winton has been in Canberra urging the Federal Government to make good on an election promise to establish a network of marine parks.
One of Labor’s 2010 election promises was to set up “a representative network of marine parks” by 2012.
“We’re on the edge of seeing the outcome,” Winton said in Canberra’s parliament house today.
