ELEANOR HALL: Let’s go now to Western Australia where recreational fishermen have vowed to continue fighting federal plans for marine sanctuaries.
It’s an increasingly bitter battle in the state which has the nation’s highest rate of private boat ownership.
But in its own documents on the issue, the recreational fishing organisation Recfish appears to give some support to the conservationists who say fishers have exaggerated their claims.
