ABC News: Oil and gas exploration planned near Ningaloo
Environmentalists say it is concerning that the Federal Government does not have a strategy to deal with the future of oil and gas exploration off Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef.
The World Wildlife Fund says the reef has become a Mecca for the industry after resources company BHP Billiton revealed plans to look for oil five kilometres from the marine park.
