Will Australia lead the charge on global ocean protection?

The Australian Government has just joined an alliance of 40 nations calling for a visionary global target to protect 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030.

Right now, less than 10% of the world’s oceans are protected. On the High Seas, where much of the world’s big fish and giant marine wildlife roam and feed, there’s almost no protection at all.

The world needs as many countries as possible to actively champion ocean protection.  The Australian Government has taken the first important step by joining the alliance.

Will you sign the petition urging Australia to lead the charge on global ocean protection?
