Manly Chamber of Commerce launches petition against fishing in sanctuary zones

A PETITION against fishing in marine sanctuary zones has been started on the northern beaches.
Manly Chamber of Commerce launched the online petition in a bid to pressure the NSW government to maintain and enforce bans on fishing in sanctuary zones in state marine parks.
Last year, the government said it would not enforce bans on line fishing from shore in the zones.
They are located in areas across the state, including Cape Byron, Port Stephens and Jervis Bay.
