Murky waters for marine parks

POLITICS have again clouded the waters, as marine park users wait for the State Government to table and vote on new changes to fish and marine sanctuaries in parliament.
Marine conservation groups, scientists, indigenous leaders and the dive industry have aired concerns the government may sway the future of marine park sanctuary zones to favour the strong recreational fishing lobby.
