The West Australian: Dolphins still drowning in nets

Up to 100 dolphins are estimated to have drowned in trawl nets off the Pilbara in two years since a Murdoch University study recommended urgent action to reduce the toll.
Neil Loneragan from the university’s cetacean research unit said recommendations in the study’s final report were not implemented, despite promises from the Department of Fisheries and the industry.
